The linked report outlines the process of developing and finalizing the compact as well as some updated information about the "Aftermath." Essentially, if any insurance company chooses to sign the compact, they are responsible for providing the same services to individuals with developmental disabilities as they are providing for individuals with ASD. If they choose not to sign the compact, and they are subject to the Steve Geller Autism Act, they will be required to provide services in accordance with the Steve Geller Autism Act (which will include individuals with autism but not all developmental disabilities).
